Curriculum Overview
MP1 — DAW Signal Flow & Session Setup
Session setup, file management, inserts vs sends, master faders, subgroups, and creating production templates.
MP2 — Setting Up to Work
Creative vs technical mindset, organizing your studio, using samples effectively, and establishing song structure.
MP3 — Verse / Hook Development
Capturing inspiration, building melody and lyrics, layering synths and vocals, and refining hooks.
MP4 — Drum Production
Programming drums, routing and compression, groove swing, and 808 techniques.
MP5 — Low-End Theory
Bass production, layering, sidechaining, EQ, stereo width, and shaping your mix foundation.
MP6 — Vocal Recording & Production
Mic selection, signal chain, takes and comping, harmonies, editing, EQ, compression, and creative FX.
MP7 — Mixing Fundamentals
Balance, EQ, panning, compression, space effects, automation, and workflow optimization.
MP8 — Mastering & Final Bounce
Polish, loudness, exporting, versioning, and preparing for release or sync submission.
